Richard graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 2000 and from the Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado in 2003. He has 8 years of experience in bodywork. Richard's techniques include Rolfing, deep tissue, Swedish and sports massage. Rolfing is a deep form of bodywork which can improve posture and relieve chronic pain. In Rolfing, we affect the bodyʼs connective tissue to mold and sculpt the body. Rolfing releases the bodyʼs segments, such as legs, torso, arms and shoulders from life-long patterns of tension permitting gravity to re-align them.
While Rolfing is Richard's primary focus, he can also offer deep tissue massage. Richard's work is quite deep and therapeutic, offering relief from chronic pain.
